Which marked cards are best for you ? |
Which marked card technology is best for you ?
The most deceptive products and easiest to use are, unfortunately the most expensive. They are the:
If the price of high tech marked card products is an issue, then you should consider:
- Poker predictor (High tech pocket computer & camera system which talks to you via hidden earpiece to tell you the winning player position BEFORE the cards are dealt OR can tell you the order of the playing cards "one-at-a-time") - Contact us for pricing
- Ultra-Luminous using contact lenses or sunglasses (made in the USA) - package price is either $2,100 or $3,100. But, your average cost to mark a deck is about $14 per deck using the sunglass package (*).
- Video Luminous (requires 2+ people to use properly) - Contact us for pricing
If the price of high tech marked card products is an issue, then you should consider:
- N-Dust is the latest Juice technology. N-Dust is VERY deceptive, but will take practice to use - package price is $249. But, your average cost to mark a deck is about $3 per deck (*)
- Juice dust or Juice marker - Package price is $109, so your average cost to mark a deck is bout $3 - $5 respectively.
- Regular luminous works well only on red backed, paper playing cards. The base package costs $109 and your average cost to mark a deck is about $5 per deck. Regular ("filtered") Luminous Enhancing Sunglass Lenses are an extra $99 when purchased with the Regular Luminous marker/pen package.
(*) - NOTE: The actual number of decks you will be able to mark will vary depending upon the size and intensity of your marks. Generally, the estimates are conserviative and I persoanlly can mark more decks than quoted in the estimates.
Marking Method Decision Tree (**)
IMPORTANT: The Poker Predictor is not in the Decision Tree below. Human beings can not see the marks on cards used for the Poker Predictor. The marks are ONLY visible to the hidden wireless camera which transmits the video image to a pocket computer. The pocket computer then calculates the best, 2nd best or 3rd best hand and reports to a hidden earpiece. The system can also tell you the order of the cards "one-at-a-time" in English.
(**) Note: The decision tree above does not talk about the Poker Predictor which works with, pre-marked, paper or plastic cards. But, you find that Video Luminous is best for you, please contact NU-CONcept and we will be happy to explain the pros and cons for each product, so you can decide which "high tech" marked card technology is best for your working environment.
Comparison Matrix
(*) - While all daub/paste and dust products are easy to transport & conceal. Specifically, Juice Dust is slightly harder to conceal because you must hide a 1.5 inch x 1.5 inch Juice Dust bag. The NU-CONcept manuscript discusses various transport and concealment methods.
(**) - Regular Luminous daub or dust is NOT recommended, except for experienced customers. This is because luminous daub and dust products are applied with your finger and it is difficult to avoid white areas of the card. To compensate for this issue, the luminous marks must be made lighter than the luminous marker. Hence, the marks are harder to read.
(***) - daub/paste have the potential to slightly dull the finish of some playing cards. But, this is easy to repair. Daub/dust products will never alter the finish of your cards.
(****) - Luminous and Juice marker, when used as per instructions, will leave the finish of the cards in perfect condition.
If you want to make ad-hoc marked cards, NU-CONcept STRONGLY recommends Ultra-Luminous dust, Juice Dust or N-Dust because it can, and should be, applied to the white portions of the back design. Only Ultra-Luminous may be used on the white borders of playing cards.
